Ashley Cole tweet hints at hidden anger after another Chelsea snub

Ashley Cole controversial on Twitter. Never...

Read the above tweet posted just after 11.30pm on Tuesday evening and Ashley Cole does not sound like a happy boy.

While he may not be speaking publicly in the traditional sense, it's apparent he is trying to convey how he feels.

Cole was left on the substitute's bench again by Jose Mourinho - for a fourth successive game.

He last played in Chelsea's 2-0 loss to Newcastle United, and it looks like he is being scapegoated in part for the loss, with Cesar Azpilicueta - a player previously thought of as a right-back, preferred in his place.

It isn't just Chelsea where it isn't going right for him- he has also been dropped by England in favour of Leighton Baines of late, and with the World Cup on the horizon, it's fair to assume Cole is more than a little worried about his untimely benching.

We anticipate that the iron-fisted Mourinho will not take kindly to his latest tweet, whether another innocent explanation behind it or not...
