Various Italian media sources reported that Mario Balotelli was late to training at the start of the week, but AC Milan tactician Max Allegri feels the story has been exaggerated and is angry at leaks from within the club.
Troubled marksman Balotelli missed a penalty for the Rossoneri in a 1-1 draw against Genoa last weekend before posting a cryptic message on Twitter stating 'this is the end'.
It was then widely reported across Italy that the ex-Manchester City man had turned up late for training two days in a row.
But Allegri insists that Balotelli's time-keeping isn't a source of concern and is keen to find out who is giving the press the information.
"Balotelli will play against Celtic," Allegri said in his press conference. "We have always had great faith in him and I have a very good relationship with him.
"It's not the first time in my three and a half years at the club that a player has arrived at training late. It happens.
"I'm disappointed that certain things are circulated outside the dressing room. It shouldn't be that way and I am very angry about it.
"I would like to know who it is that is spreading these stories outside Milanello."
Milan are in Glasgow to face Celtic in a crucial Champions League Group H clash this evening and know that defeat could be extremely costly.
