After suffering a hamstring injury this August German international Lukas Podolski is kicking it again on the trainings pitch.
Who would have thought that the hamstring injury Lukas Podolski suffered in Champions League play-off victory over Fenerbahce could take so long to heal. No surprise that Arsenal fans are keen to see Poldi back on the pitch after such a long absence.
After Arsene Wenger announced a probable return last Friday by saying “Podolski is not too far away” the news went viral over the internet. Everybody is excited to see the fan favourite play and establish himself back at starting line-up as the competition heated up during Podolski’s recovery time.
Today the 28-year-old posted pictures on instagram announcing his return on the training pitch.
An appearance in Arsenal’s match against Olympique de Marseille on Tuesday in their Champions League return match is way too early. However the German striker his aiming at the match versus Everton FC on December 8th.
I’m not a doctor but when you sling it like that there might not be much bothering you.
Lukas Podolski loves the camera. The German international is obviously happy to join his Arsenal colleagues Mesut Ozil and Per Mertesacker on the pitch.
