Fixture analysis: After 6-0 thumping, what's left for Spurs this year?

Andre Villas-Boas' side have a lot of making up to do following Sunday's defeat to Manchester City. How can they do it?

It’s been an embarrassing 24 hours if you’re a Spurs fan. Humiliated by Manuel Pellegrini’s City side, they need to redeem themselves before the end of the year. Here are the fixtures that can help them do that.

Manchester United (H) 1st December – After losing heavily to the blue half of Manchester, the red side visits White Hart Lane next weekend. Can Villas-Boas pull off a huge win to get the home fans off his back?

Liverpool (H) 15th December – Another huge game at home against a Reds side who seem to be right in the title race. The visitors lost last year and will be looking for revenge to put the manager in deeper trouble.

West Ham (H) 18th December – Revenge will be fully on the home side’s minds when the Hammers visit in the quarter-finals of the Capital One Cup. Sam Allardyce’s side pulled off a memorable 3-0 win in the Premier League and will be looking to cause another upset.

Southampton (A) 22nd December – St Mary’s is no easy place to go to. Gareth Bale inspired the away side to victory last season against his former club but with the winger now in Madrid, someone else will have to step up to the plate in order for them to pick up three points.

West Brom (H) 26th December – This looks the easiest game on paper, but Albion have picked up points in two of their last three visits to White Hart Lane, including a 1-1 draw last season in Villas-Boas’ first home game in charge.
