VIDEO: Let go by Liverpool, striker scores first Serie A goal

Argentine who made only four appearances for the Reds scores for Catania but can't stop them suffering a heavy defeat.

He couldn't play in the Premier League due to work permit problems, but Sebastian Leto hasn't looked back since.

Signed by Rafael Benitez in 2007 from Argentinian side Lanus, Leto was a hot prospect and made his debut in a 4-0 Champions League qualifying win over Toulouse.

After his passport was revoked, he was loaned out to Greek side Olympiakos and then sold for £3 million to Panathinaikos. After scoring 27 times in three seasons, he's now moved to Italy and scored his first Catania goal in a 4-1 defeat which can be seen in the video below.

Given his record since leaving England, it does feel like this is one player that got away for the Anfield club.
