Although he remains a spectator at Inter, Chelsea's Brazilian right-back Wallace will remain on loan at San Siro until summer, his agent maintains.
The 19-year-old is widely tipped for the top but was deemed surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge after arriving from Fluminense and sent out on loan to Inter.
Benfica were linked with Wallace in the summer but he opted to join the Nerazzurri and there have been whispers that he could change his mind in January and head for Portugal or return to England ahead of schedule.
But the player's agent Frederico Moraes is adamant that Wallace will be in Italy until next summer, even if his playing time is limited.
"Will he be moving in January? No, he will certainly be staying at Inter," he told Fcinternews.it.
"He is contracted until June 2014 and I don't see any possibility of him returning to England before then.
"Wallace is really happy at Inter and is learning a lot from Walter Mazzarri. He will fight for his chance and we expect he will get a lot more playing time."
Wallace has played just 39 minutes in Serie A so far this season ahead of Inter's trip to Bologna.
