A potential winter window target was spotted with Liverpool fans at Goodison Park today…
Rubin Kazan's battling midfielder Yann M'Vila was reportedly spotted mixing with the Liverpool fans at the away end during the club's 3-3 tie with Everton at Goodison Park earlier today, Saturday, prompting speculation that a winter window switch from the Russian Primera Liga to the England Premier League hopefuls is imminent.
Liverpool supporters' opinion was polarised by the news as there were a minority who were sceptical over the legitimacy of any transfer rumour, claiming instead that he must have been there as a guest of Mamadou Sakho who, like M'Vila, is signed to the representative agency WB-Sportmanagement.
However, Sakho did not start the game and neither did he come off from the bench, leading others to question the logic over why M'Vila would attend as a guest of a footballer who wasn't even playing.
Optimists, meanwhile, look forward to exciting mid-season shopping, urging manager Brendan Rodgers to bolster the squad's midfield by acquiring M'Vila, who only joined Rubin Kazan from Ligue 1 side Rennes in January, 2013 for a fee of £9.6m but could now - according to transfermarkt.co.uk - be valued at £13m, while a £16.6m bid would activate a release clause.
An imposing defensive-minded 23-year-old, M'Vila is noted for his physical prowess, tireless work-rate and ability to shield a rearguard.

Cough cough, Sakho and M'Vila share the same agents....— James (@Zwerxn) November 23, 2013
I'd be surprised if M'Vila was there for Sakho/Cissokho seeing as neither even started. Why would he come if they werent going to be played?— Tom (@TommoLFC_) November 23, 2013
wow. if that is legit and we can get m'vila i'll be over the moon. exactly the type of midfielder we are crying out for.— Vincent Kelly (@vincent_kelly1) November 23, 2013

M'Vila didn't play today for Rubin Kazan. Not in the squad. It is him.— Dan (@LfcDan) November 23, 2013
While M'Vila wouldnt be a 'bad buy', dont let folks convince you he's some sort of world beater. He could have been, may become, but not now— Ben Carr (@DoctorBenjy) November 23, 2013
