Former Arsenal starlet's three month goal drought over as he scores FOUR in one game

Carlos Vela had not scored since the 24th August before tonight - when he scored four in a tremendous 4-3 win v Celta Vigo.

There have been some special games across Europe today ... but the one between Real Sociedad and Celta Vigo at the Anoeta might just top them all.

Real Sociedad have beaten Celta Vigo 4-3 at home, coming back from 3-1 down to do the escape trick.

Arsenal: Wenger's bluffing about new striker

And who scored the goals for Sociedad I hear you ask? Well all four goals were scored by the sensational Carlos Vela.

The former Arsenal starlet had a great season at the club last term - but recently things have been tough for him.

In fact before this evening’s victory he had scored no goals in La Liga since the 24th August, three months ago, against Elche … a total of ten games altogether.

But with a little help from Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann he stole the show this evening - helping Sociedad recover from being 3-1 down in the 55th minute - to win 4-3 in dramatic and jubilant celebrations.

In fact for the season he only had three goals in total before the game today - meaning he has now scored more goals in one game than he has all season - and suddenly his record of seven goals does not look that bad.

La Liga beware … Carlos Vela is back.
