Jose Mourinho is reportedly keen to link up again with enigmatic marksman Mario Balotelli and sources suggest that AC Milan could be persuaded to let him go.
Balotelli and Mourinho crossed paths at Inter where they had some differences of opinion but the Portuguese coach has since stressed his respect for the Italian international.
It has been a poor season so far for the Rossoneri and Balotelli has struggled to make headlines on the pitch rather than off it.
The ex-Manchester City man's agent Mino Raiola has publicly stated that he may have made a mistake bringing Balotelli back to Italy due to the level of press interest in him, causing widespread speculation that Mourinho may make a move.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Milan are ready to listen to offers for Balotelli and would be looking for something in the region of £25m.
While Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has stressed that he wouldn't let Balotelli leave, the Italian newspaper believes the club may be rethinking its stance.
The Corriere dello Sport believes that Pazzini could be fit again in January and ready to fill the gap left by Balotelli, meaning no replacement signing would be needed.
If Milan continue to stutter in Serie A they may miss out on next season's Champions League, meaning that £25m of profit could be very valuable for the summer rebuilding process.
