Five key fixtures left for Hull City in 2013

It's been a superb year for Steve Bruce and his side and a fantastic season so far. But can it end on a higher note?

The Tigers have a fantastic chance to end the year in a comfortable mid-table position, giving them a platform for greater things in 2014.

Here are the fixtures that can make it a happy end to the year.

Crystal Palace (A) 23rd November – The Eagles are still without a manager at the time of writing so the fans and players will be expecting three crucial points against the side at the bottom of the table.

Stoke (H) 14th December – Another team in and around the relegation zone, Mark Hughes’ side have faltered after a promising start to the season and Bruce will surely see this as another opportunity for maximum points.

West Brom (A) 21st December – This won’t be an easy fixture but if the Tigers can stay tight at the back, there’s every chance of them coming away from the Hawthorns with at least a point.

Manchester United (H) 26th December – Boxing Day offers an exciting affair for the home fans as the Champions visit. A draw would be seen as a bonus and would give them plenty of momentum going into the last game of 2013.

Fulham (H) 28th December - A win against Martin Jol’s Cottagers would be a fantastic way to end a brilliant year for the club. Fulham’s away record hasn’t been pretty in Premier League years and Hull should be considered the favourites to pick up the win.
