Predicted Everton XI to play Liverpool: Barkley to make comeback

Match to be played on Saturday 23rd November 2013 at 12:45. Venue: Goodison Park, Liverpool.

The historical local Derby, the 200th, will be viciously fought for on Saturday as both sides look to keep the momentum going for their league campaign.

Liverpool will most likely be at full strength and the main concern for Everton will be the leash they will need to put on the impressive 'SAS'.

Everton will also be in a good position to put out a strong line-up and won't have to make changes to the side that has seen back to back draws as they look to return to winning ways.

This is how we predict Everton will line-up:

Coleman Jagielka Distin Baines

McCarthy Barry

Mirallas Barkley Pienaar

Analysis: A similar side that only managed a disappointing solitary point against bottom side Crystal Palace with the exception of Ross Barkley coming in for Leon Osman.

The game will be fiercely contested and because of that, we expect that the majority of play will be spent being fought out in the middle of the park.

James McCarthy and Gareth Barry are likely to be the pair put under the microscope as they will be the hub behind any result Everton look to get on Saturday. They have created a special partnership in the middle of the park and will face their toughest battle yet on Saturday.

Ross Barkley could be instrumental for the side, as he looks to win his place back in the starting 11 after dropping off from his spectacular start. The 19-year-old midfielder will look to be the spark for Everton and put his name in the history books.

The obvious concern for Liverpool will be how to deal with the 6'3'' Belgium mountain that they face. Credited with being the brightest young striker in the world, he will no doubt cause problems for Liverpool. Agger and Skrtel are well built to live up to the task but after putting players like Kompany on his harris, they will have to be vigilant of the dangerous man.
