German wonderkid says Arsenal are 'a very, very nice team' and Szczesny belief

All the morning news and gossip from The Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have received good news this morning - as one of Europe’s top young talents admitted he could be interested in a move to The Emirates.

Schalke 04 playmaker Julian Draxler is also wanted by Manchester United and Chelsea - and despite ruling out any move away from Gelsenkirchen in January, he made it clear that an Arsenal move would appeal to him one day:

“ I have always said English teams are very big clubs and Arsenal is of course one of them. Of course I sometimes speak to Mesut Ozil or Per Mertesacker about the team, about the club, and they always have good words and they tell me nice things. They always have very young players, they play attractive football and that’s what I like. You never know what happens – but Arsenal is a very, very nice team.”

Napoli could reportedly be forced to play their game against Arsenal behind closed doors, as Uefa consider sanctions for crowd trouble against Marseille.

The match, which takes place on December 11th, could be played in front of no fans at the Stadio San Paolo - removing the advantage the Partenopei get from their infamously impassioned following.

Arsenal are said to be furious with the FA after they decided to play Jack Wilshere against Germany. It was reportedly understood that they would only play the midfielder against Chile - allowing him plenty of time to recover for the game against Southampton this weekend.

However he did feature against the Germans as a second-half substitute and is now reportedly a doubt for the Saints fixture.

Finally and goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny has revealed his belief that Arsenal do not necessarily have to add to their current crop of players in order to win the Premier League:

“We know that if we just carry on doing the same thing we will show people that this team and these players are good enough to win a trophy without any extra additions or extra work that people are talking about. We certainly believe we can do it.”
