Liverpool striker Suarez subject of renewed Real Madrid attention

Real Madrid are claimed to be back in for Luis Suarez.

Liverpool's Luis Suarez is amazingly the Premier League top scorer with eight goals already despite missing the first six games of the season, and his form is courting further attention.

Real Madrid are said to be ready to launch a fresh January attempt to sign him, even if we do not fancy their chances.

Marca report mysteriously that Suarez 'has been offered to Madrid', (likely by a third party) and is wanted as a priority by Carlo Ancelotti.

"His name is Luis Suárez and once again he has been offered to the Bernabeu club. The Uruguayan's was the first name that Ancelotti wrote on his transfer wish list a month ago. The Italian is fully aware that it is just that, a "wish list", but if you don't ask, you don't get."

In this case we fully expect to be a case of 'even if you do ask, you don't get'.

Suarez recently revealed his happiness at Anfield and how much he is enjoying his football, even describing the club as being in the title race.

Liverpool will be unlikely to even entertain offers, particularly mid-season, and Madrid are unlikely to be able to afford him despite raising money from selling Mesut Ozil to Arsenal to offset their world record Bale fee.

We don't doubt Madrid will continue to attempt to sign Suarez, but it will be a waste of time in January.
