Greece may not be everybody's idea of an entertaining side to watch at next year's World Cup, but one man is threatening to help them change that.
Konstantinos Mitroglou is the Olympiakos striker who is attracting Europe-wide attention for his feats early in 2013/14.
While the 20 goal mark is a barometer strikers like to try to achieve over the course of the season, Mitroglou has broken it just four months into the 2013/14 season, in 17 games for club and country.
He struck again last night for Greece in their 1-1 draw against Romania, which gave them a 4-2 aggregate win. Mitroglou scored twice in the first leg on Friday night.
He is a player in supreme form, scoring back-to-back hat-tricks for his club in October.
