Often heralded as the deadliest attacking partnership in Europe, the figures below - taken from the 2013-14 season so far and applicable to all competitions - actually indicate that Liverpool's SAS, consisting of Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez, are not even the most potent pairing in England, as Arsenal duo Aaron Ramsey and Olivier Giroud better the Anfield strikers' total haul by a solitary goal.
Interestingly, Manchester United forwards Wayne Rooney and Robin van Persie only trail Sturridge and Suarez by a goal, while Cristiano Ronaldo has more than all the other featured clubs' partnerships by himself, but has significantly more when Karim Benzema's efforts are tallied into the equation.
