Jose Mourinho may not take kindly to what he is about to hear from Eden Hazard.
Hazard has told a Belgian newspaper that Kevin de Bruyne will be best off leaving Chelsea in January on loan.
He remarkably told Nieuwsblade: "If he does not play, it is better for him to leave."
"Playing a World Cup after having not played for a year, is very difficult."
"A departure to play more, that would be good for him and for the team. If we want to get the best from Kevin upwards it is better that he leaves. But he s a big boy. He must make his own choices."
De Bruyne has been out of favour with Chelsea in recent weeks, and even Hazard had a recent run-in with Mourinho after returning late from a visit to Lille and missing training for a Champions League game with Schalke, which he was dropped for.
At the weekend Belgium boss Marc Wilmots advised De Bruyne to leave to play regularly, before backtracking and stating he did not want to interfere between his player and Chelsea.
It's likely Hazard could end up making an apology of his own in public or privately to manager Jose Mourinho.
