Jet-heeled striker Loic Remy is one of the men of the moment in England, scoring seven times in his opening nine games.
The loan star is emerging as one of the signings of the season, and QPR's accountants must be, for once, rubbing their hands with glee at the potential fee they can charge for his services next season.
His form has not gone unnoticed in France, with him called into the international squad for the upcoming World Cup playoff with Ukraine.
While dislodging Olivier Giroud or Karim Benzema in the race for a lone striker spot is too much of an ask at this stage, the possibility of him fitting in elsewhere in the side is certainly possible.
Remy is under consideration for a spot on the wing, and while at this point it seems Samir Nasri will likely get the nod, it is not what fans would like to see.
A poll on French website Le10Sport yesterday asked fans who they would like to see play on the right against Ukraine, and the results are as follows:
Loic Remy (45%), Samir Nasri (30%), Mathieu Valbuena (15%), Karim Benzema (10%).
Given the often tempestuous relationship between Nasri and the French supporters, perhaps the result should not be as a great surprise, but it is to Remy's credit that he is the player preferred to the City man rather than any other.
As the forward seeks to keep the dream start to his 2013/14 season going, a winning goal from the start or from the bench against Ukraine would certainly not come as a surprise to anybody who has seen Remy in action this campaign.
