France XI v Ukraine - Lloris returns, Giroud starts and so does Remy

France Football

Which players from Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Liverpool feature tonight?

France take on Ukraine this evening in one of four European qualifying play-offs for the FIFA World Cup in Brazil next year.

Now both teams are certainly confident that they can get the better of the other, if they perform to their highest abilities - but France enter the tie as the favourites with most observers.

And even if you are a neutral it should be entertaining, it always is when France play in a World Cup play-off - isn’t that right our Irish readers?

The interest on a Premier League scale in this case lies heavily with the French - who have a plethora of Premier League talent in their squad.

In fact, a whopping 11 players from Arsenal, Manchester United, Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Liverpool are in the squad for these crunch play-off ties - and they will likely have been asking some of their England colleagues how to get the better of Ukraine - not that we would really know.

It proves to be a tough game for Les Bleus, so they will need a strong starting XI to get the better of their Ukrainian opposition.

So enough suspense … who plays tonight:

France XI: Lloris; Debuchy, Koscielny, Abidal, Evra; Matuidi, Pogba; Rémy, Nasri, Ribéry; Giroud
