A brief look at the progress of Arsenal players serving their time with other clubs.

Joel Campbell has been the pick of the bunch for Arsenal’s loan prospects and recently helped Olympiakos widen the gap between them and PAOK at the top of the Greek Super League.

The attacking midfielder seems to be the key piece in Olympiakos' title hopes as they look to regain the title which they won last season and at the weekend the midfielder ran the show as they tore title rivals apart in an emphatic 4-0 win.

The Arsenal midfielder showed his class as he set up two goals, and scored another.

In the Championship both Damian Martinez and Ignasi Miquel were unused subs during their respective games most recently.

Miquel watched from the bench as Leicester City lost to local rivals Nottingham Forest in a highly anticipated promotion battle, which ended in Aaron Ramsey’s former loan side coming away with the spoils.

Time in the first team has been difficult for the Spanish under-21 defender as he faces very tough competition in Moore, Morgan, Wasilewski and St Ledger all fighting for spots to.

Martinez had to endure an equally embarrassing loss for his loan side as Derby County ran riot against a poor Sheffield Wednesday outfit that in the end should have lost by more due to them being outclassed all over the field.

In Bundesliga, Johan Djourou was still out with an injury to his groin and Francis Coquelin managed 45 minutes in a performance he would much rather forget.

Johan Djourou, whilst considered a regular for Hamburg was forced out through injury to his groin, could only watch from the stands as his side came up short against Bayer Leverkusen in one of the most exciting games in Europe at the weekend. Manchester United target Son Heung-Min scored a hat-trick, with Kiebling and Castro also getting on the score sheet to condemn Hamburger to a 5-3 defeat.

Francis Coquelin endured a torrid 45 minutes at home to Stuttgart where the away side was 2-0 up after 10 minutes, the young midfielder was brought off at half time and Freiburg ended up losing 3-1 in the end.
