A round up of key news stories this morning about Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy has been attacked in the Spanish media.
El Confidencial has released a report which glorifies the recent form of former spurs man Gareth Bale while attacking Levy for his actions over the summer.
Levy is portrayed negatively, with the source blaming him for making Bale’s summer difficult and also for his injury problems at the start of the season.
Tottenham have been linked with the ‘new Neymar’ Neilton of Santos.
The youngster is out of contract in the summer and Spanish side Sevilla are thought to be ready with £600,000 on the table for the teenager.
However, Santos are thought to be keen on a sell-on deal, which will give Tottenham the edge in the race to sign him if they agree.
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Christian Eriksen has been voted Danish Player of the Year.
Eriksen previously won the award in 2011 and he’s been honoured for his performances for Ajax earlier this year and a decent start at Tottenham in the Premier League.
“Many thanks to those who voted. I'm extremely grateful to receive this prize. I can only say thank you to all those who have helped me in recent years, especially those who have been with me this past year with everything that I have gone through,” said the Dane.
