The Spain international has claimed that his former boss' absence is felt, but has praised current coach Tata Martino.
Sergio Busquets has revealed that former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola ‘will always be missed’ but has moved to praise current tactician Tata Martino.
The ex-Bluagrana midfielder was in charge of the club during their most successful period, but has since moved on to manage German giants Bayern Munich. And the current midfielder has conceded that Guardiola’s presence is missed, but has insisted that the new man is getting the best out of the squad.
'Guardiola will always be missed,' he told Canal +. 'However, Tata is very demanding, and that is to the benefit of the team.
'He has a lot of character, but is always asking more from us.
'If we win well but conceded a goal, Tata will ask why we conceded that goal.
'And when it gets to the latter rounds of the Champions League, that won goal could be crucial.
'Clearly we’ve changed [under Martino], but you have to advance.'
