Bale insists that there is 'more to come' at Real Madrid

Despite a good start to life at Santiago Bernabeu, the ex-Spurs man has conceded that he can do more.

Former Tottenham Hotspur winger Gareth Bale has claimed that ‘the best is yet to come’ at Real Madrid.

The Wales international has seen his start to life in the Spanish capital disrupted by a string of niggling injuries and concerns caused by a missed preseason this summer.

And despite a run in the Blancos team that has seen him score four and set up six goals in 10 matches.

“The best is yet to come. I have just finished my preseason and I can still give more,” Bale told the Spanish club’s official television channel.

“Now I can score more goals and help the team achieve success. It was only a matter of time to be 100 per cent.

“Now everyone sees what I can do. I need to keep working and hopefully there will be more goals.

“Playing with Cristiano? He is amazing, he scores hat-tricks every week. It is a pleasure to play with him.”
