Everything you need to know about Week 12 of the Serie A season which saw Juventus see off Napoli 3-0, Roma slip up again and some comic own goals.

Week 12 of the Serie A season belonged to Antonio Conte and Juventus, who won the much-hyped battle against Napoli and closed the gap on leaders Roma, who stumbled against Sassuolo.

INTER 2-0 LIVORNO

Javier Zanetti returned from a six-month injury lay-off as Inter beat Livorno 2-0 aided by an embarrassing own goal from Livorno 'keeper Francesco Bardi, who is on loan from Inter!

CATANIA 1-0 UDINESE

A shock result in a game decided by penalties. Catania's Maxi Lopez scored his while Udinese had two decent appeals turned down.

JUVENTUS 3-0 NAPOLI

After all the mind games it was Antonio Conte who got the last laugh over Rafa Benitez. Paul Pogba's fantastic volley was the memorable goal but the first from Fernando Llorente after just two minutes was key.

ROMA 1-1 SASSUOLO

Another contender for own goal of the season from Alessandro Longhi, who blasted into his own net after seeing his 'keeper make an excellent save, but Roma couldn't take advantage as much vaunted Juventus-owned teenager Domenico Berardi levelled in stoppage time.

FIORENTINA 2-1 SAMPDORIA

Giuseppe Rossi continued his magnificent scoring form with a quick-fire brace but Sampdoria fought back and nearly grabbed a draw. The result may cost Sampdoria boss Delio Rossi his job.

CHIEVO 0-0 AC MILAN

This draw against minnows Chievo won't have helped under-fire AC Milan coach Max Allegri. The Rossoneri controlled the game and Robinho hit the post but the goal wouldn't come.

GENOA 2-0 VERONA

Verona were brought back down to earth as two first-half goals within six minutes were enough for the hosts.

PARMA 1-1 LAZIO

Lazio's ex-Barcelona boy Keita Balde scored a fantastic goal on his Serie A debut but some sloppy defending allowed a free header from Alessandro Lucarelli to equalise and keep Vladimir Petkovic under pressure.

CAGLIARI 2-1 TORINO

It was decided by a free-kick master class from Daniele Conti, one in the first half and one at the death, both beauties.

ATALANTA 2-1 BOLOGNA

This one looked like a draw until Marko Livaja scored a last-gasp winner which Gianluca Curci let squirm through his gloves.
