Arsenal should take hope from their defensive record...
Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie, Luis Suarez, Robert Lewandowski, Daniel Sturridge.
Five of the world's best or most in-form strikers, and all have faced Arsenal over the past eight days.
Rooney has scored seven times this season, Van Persie nine times. Lewandowski has netted 13 goals, while Suarez has eight and Sturridge has 10.
That's a combined 47 goals the quintet have scored between them, quite some firepower.
However in the last week, Arsenal's defence have conceded just one goal to the sensational strikers.
It's quite an achievement whichever way you look at it. It's especially galling that the one goal they conceded resulted in a loss to Manchester United, but encouraging all the same.
Their resolute backline allowed them to gain the 1-0 away win at Borussia Dortmund, and win comfortably against Liverpool.
While they are presently coming off the back of a defeat, for the rest of the season Arsenal can take real positives from the way they have successfully stifled four of the most in-form strikers in football.
