There would have been plenty of surprised faces after hearing the news that Arsenal defeated Borussia Dortmund in Germany last weekend.
It’s a result which has probably caused United boss David Moyes to sweat a little bit more than usual.

United have struggled at home this season, dropping points to Chelsea, West Brom and Southampton as they scramble to try and put together some sort of title defence this season.
It’s a strange situation because Arsenal don’t have a great recent record at United and they haven’t won at the ground since the 2006/2007 season but they head into this game as arguably the clear favourites.
The Gunners have an eight point gap over United which they can extend with a win tomorrow afternoon, creating an 11 point cushion which may not be clawed back.
While Moyes may not have been shocked by the result in Dortmund, there’s little doubt that it could have put him well on edge because another defeat will see the pressure increase over the Scot even further.
