Liverpool climbed to just two points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal with an impressive 4-0 victory at home to strugglers Fulham.
The visitors did themselves no favours when one of their own scored the opening goal, Fernando Amorebieta deflecting a Steven Gerrard cross into his own net.
Just three minutes later, Gerrard turned provider for the second time when his corner was headed home by Martin Skrtel.
For once the SAS were not getting on the score-sheet, but that all changed when Luis Suarez was played through by Jordan Henderson, and he calmly slotted home with nine minutes of the first half remaining.
Another nine minutes after the re-start and it was four, with the Uruguayan grabbing his second of the afternoon.
It was something of a small success that Fulham did not concede again, although the result leaves them just two points above the relegation zone having played a game more than three of the four teams below them.
