According to the Italian media Silvio Berlusconi will hold decisive talks with his Vice-President Adriano Galliani over lunch today.
AC Milan are a club in crisis after a dismal start to the season that has already hugely jeopardised the Rossoneri's chances of Champions League qualification.
Coach Massimiliano Allegri is under fire and many believe will be sacked should Milan slip up against bottom side Chievo at the Stadio Bentegodi.
And the blame has also fallen on transfer guru Galliani, who was publicly criticised by Berlusconi's daughter Barbara, who is a director.
Barbara Berlusconi has denied demanding that Galliani be sacked but has called for a 'change in business philosophy' at the club.
According to most of the Italian newspapers, a lunch meeting at Berlusconi's house will decide Galliani's fate.
There are rumours in Italy that Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade is lined up to replace Galliani after his excellent work for the Viola.
Although a polarising figure, Galliani has been with Milan since 1986 during which time the Diavolo have won eight Scudetti and five Champions League titles.
