Brazil V Scotland

Arsenal have been linked with signing a new right-back.

Arsene Wenger could have identified a new right-back, Brazilian defender Fabinho.

Reports in Europe claim that the defender has caught the eye, and is an option to replace Bacary Sagna if the Frenchman departs at the end of the season.

Who is he and what can we tell you about him? Here are five facts...

1) Fabinho is owned by Portuguese Primeira Liga side Rio Ave, but is on loan at present to Ligue 1 title chasers AS Monaco.

2) He has played 11 games at right-back for Monaco this season, with one assist.

3) He spent two seasons on loan at Real Madrid, with their youth team - making 30 appearances last season. He played for the first team in a 6-2 win over Malaga at the end of the season, and provided an assist.

4) Fabinho, 20, shares the same agent as former gunner Emmanuel Adebayor, and has a contract at Rio Ave until 2018.
