Robin Van Persie

It may have slipped under a few people’s radar but Van Persie is actually in pretty decent form and is Manchester United’s leading scorer in the league this season. Last season he scored both home and away against his former club, so can he strike again this Sunday?

Theo Walcott

The big question is where is Arsene Wenger going to fit Walcott in with a side that is playing pretty well at the moment on his return from injury? He may be thrown into the action towards the end of the game if the Gunners need a goal, so his possible impact will certainly be worth watching.

Hugo Lloris

Lloris was knocked unconscious last weekend against Everton but managed to continue the remainder of the game. The fallout has been spectacular, but will it affect his form or his judgement in situations where he could potentially get hurt this weekend?

Sergio Aguero

Aguero is simply in terrific form at the moment. He is now the joint top scorer in the league and is in amongst the goals in the Champions League. A lot of punters will be betting on him getting in amongst the goals again against struggling Sunderland.

Philippe Coutinho

Coutinho made his return from injury in the second half against Arsenal and saw a lot of the ball. He couldn’t influence the outcome of that game, but expect him to start against Fulham – and for him to be involved in a lot of the action.

Yohan Cabaye

Cabaye has again been linked with a move away from Newcastle this week but he is going to be playing an integral role in their midfield if they are going to come away from White Hart Lane with a good result.

Romelu Lukaku

Andre-Villas Boas said that Lukaku could have jumped over Hugo Lloris in their collision last Sunday. But expect Everton’s main man to respond in the best way possible in scoring goals. Crystal Palace will need to be on their guard.

Samuel Eto’o

Fernando Torres could miss Chelsea’s clash with West Brom at the weekend so the responsibility may fall to Eto’o lead the line against the Baggies. Can he hold down that place in Mourinho’s side?

Steven Caulker

He must be on a bit of a high after scoring the winner for Cardiff against Swansea, as well as an accomplished display at the back. He will need another accomplished display against Aston Villa to deal with the big goal threat of Christian Benteke and company.

Keiren Westwood

Westwood suffered a similar injury to Lloris but left the field and could make a return against Manchester City. It’s probably not the return he wanted as he may have one of his busiest afternoons at the season against City, who certainly know how to find the net.
