Manchester United missed a penalty as they drew 0-0 with Real Sociedad.
Manchester United may yet look back on their trip to Sociedad and reflect on it being a crucial wasted opportunity.
Javier Hernandez and Robin van Persie both missed close ranger sitters, and the Dutchman had an even easier opportunity.
He hit the post from the penalty spot, missing a golden chance to win the three points for his side late on.
the penalty award itself was a controversial one, with Ashley Young winning the spot-kick after being pulled back into the box, theatrically falling to the floor.
ITV pundit Roy Keane was critical of the United man after the game.
He said: "He's played for it. Ashley Young has gone down too much over the past two months. It's in a foreign country but it's more accepted."
He added: "He's conned the referee."
Fellow pundit Lee Dixon had a difference of opinion, posturing, "Is he right to go down, I'd probably say yes."
The third pundit was former Aston Villa manager Martin O'Neill, who signed him and once even compared the winger to Lionel Messi.
He was quick to dismiss his responsibility for the player's diving habits:
"(under me) not that often I must admit. Ashley has gone down really easily recently, in the last year. Deep down (i know) it wasn't me."
What do you think about the incident?
