According to The Sun, Arsenal and West Ham are both eyeing Senegalese striking star Khouma Babacar who is enjoying an excellent season for Serie B side Modena.
Babacar has been tipped for the top for some time and is well known by Football Manager fans for his prowess on the game.
The gifted marksman moved to Italy at the age of 14 and signed for Pescara before catching the eye of Fiorentina, who still own him.
Babacar made his Viola debut at the age of just 16 years and 10 months in January 2010 in a Coppa Italia clash against Chievo and found the net in a 3-2 win.
Since then, the 20-year-old has been on loan to Racing Santander, Padova and now Modena, where he heads the top scorers' chart with eight goals after masterminding the downfall of leaders Virtus Lanciano last weekend.
While Modena boss Walter Novellino insists that Babacar is staying put in January, he will have little say in the matter.
Fiorentina will decide the youngster's fate and according to The Sun they will be contacted by West Ham and Arsenal in the New Year.
Both West Ham and Arsenal are lacking depth in striking options and could see the up and coming Babacar as a super sub with great potential for the future.
