A round up of the key news stories about Tottenham Hotspur this morning.
Tottenham Hotspur have backed Hugo Lloris’ decision to play on following a blow to the head last weekend.
The Frenchman was knocked unconscious following a challenge from Everton forward Romelu Lukaku and has decided to play on rather than take a break.
“The club can confirm that Hugo Lloris underwent a precautionary CT scan and was given the all-clear and travelled back to London last night,” said the club on their Twitter feed.
Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker has backed star striker Roberto Soldado to have more of an impact.
The forward has struggled to score goals freely from open play following his big money move from Valencia last summer.
“It's not probably falling the way he would like. He is scoring from the penalty spot [against Hull]. It's goals but it's probably not what he wants goals to be like but he works hard in training and I feel his performances on the field are going to bring goals,” said Walker.
The young forward has spent several spells on loan away from White Hart Lane and Ipswich are thought to be keen on a potential deal.
Kane has spent time in the Championship with Millwall and Leicester City so he knows the division well.
