Confirmed - Manchester City line-up v CSKA Moscow - Pantilimon starts

Man City Etihad

Manchester City host CSKA Moscow this evening as they look to move onto nine points, kick-off from the Etihad at 19:45 GMT.

Starting Team: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Nastasic, Clichy, Nasri, Silva, Fernandinho, Touré, Negredo, Aguero

Subs: Hart, Richards, Lescott, Kolarov, Milner, Navas, Dzeko

Manchester City will be full of confidence going into this game for two reasons; the win against CSKA in Russia and last weekend’s demolition of Norwich City.

The performance in Russia was a very efficient display from the current side, as they ground out a hard fought 2-1 win in difficult conditions, thanks to in form front man Sergio Aguero.

City were also superb last weekend against Norwich, with seven different goalscorers getting onto the score sheet, which would have given Manuel Pellegrini a big selection headache going into this game.

For CSKA, it’s getting close to a situation where it’s win or bust.

They sit third in the group, three points behind City with a negative goal difference of minus three. If they lose this game then they can virtually wave goodbye to any chance of making it into the knockout round.

What’s your score prediction for the game?
