Tottenham reserve Heurelho Gomes has offered some friendly advice to his QPR compatriot.
Heurelho Gomes has advised Brazilian international goalkeeper Julio Cesar to end his QPR nightmare as soon as possible.
Cesar had been linked with moves away from the club all summer, with Arsenal one of the teams suggested, but his high wages served to put teams off doing a deal.
The 34-year-old has not played a single game all season for the Loftus Road outfit.
Now Tottenham reserve goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes has hit out at QPR boss Harry Redknapp, blaming the manager for failing to utilise Cesar's talents.
He told ESPN Brasil: "Julio is working with Redknapp, a technician who will never change his way of thinking and who does not like the South American players.
"Especially those Brazilians. I worked with him at Tottenham and I had difficulty. It does not matter if you're a player of international standing or not."
Those are harsh words for Redknapp, who would surely only point to Gomes' repeated mistakes as to why he himself was dropped from the Spurs side.
Redknapp was also the manager who signed Brazilian midfielder Sandro for Tottenham, although he appears the only player from the country the manager has ever bought during his career.
What do you think of Gomes' comments and are they justified? Where should Cesar move to in January?
