Tottenham didn’t have their best performance of the season away at Everton but they did manage to secure another vital point as they hunt for a top four place in the Premier League.
They went into a match against a very difficult Everton side, with a good team and looking to take all three points away from Goodison Park but it was unfortunately not meant to be.
Former chairman Lord Sugar has questioned the performance, suggesting AVB’s tactics are easy to read and predictable.
Spurs were edged out in terms of possession with Everton enjoying more of the ball but they created substantially more chances than the Toffees with five more shots on target during the game.
On another occasion Spurs would have won the game quite easily and there could have been a penalty at either end, which would have made the situation far better or far worse.
When will genius AVB realise every manager in PL reads his format like a book. One up front with the dud Soldado does not work. #callwenger— Lord Sugar (@Lord_Sugar) November 3, 2013
Do you agree with Lord Sugar?
