CONFIRMED: Manchester City & Norwich line-ups - Pantilimon starts

Here is how Manchester City and Norwich City will line up for this afternoon’s match at the Etihad:

Manchester City starting XI: Pantilimon, Zabaleta, Demichelis, Nastasic, Clichy, Nasri, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva, Aguero, Negredo

Subs: Hart, Lescott, Richards, Kolarov, Navas, Milner, Dzeko

Norwich City starting XI: Ruddy, Martin, Turner, Bassong, Whittaker, Pilkington, Fer, Jonhson, Olsson, Howson, Hooper

Subs: Bunn, Hoolahan, Elmander, Garrido, Becchio, R Bennett, Josh Murphy

All eyes will be on the man standing between the posts for Manchester City this afternoon, with Costel Pantilimon replacing the under-fire Joe Hart.

Having performed well in the League Cup victory over Newcastle United last week, the 26-year-old Romanian now gets his chance in a league campaign the Blues will be keen to swiftly get back on track after their late undoing at Stamford Bridge.

Having slipped into the relegation zone, Norwich are under pressure but will know they could be on a hiding to nothing. Chris Hughton’s men have already suffered one defeat in Manchester in recent days, and having lost 10 of their last 14 away matches in the league they will have to perform at their peak if they want to change things for the better; especially against a City side practically unbeatable at the Etihad.

What do you think today’s result will be?
