Match to be played on Saturday 2nd November 2013 at 15:00. Venue: The Hawthorns, West Bromwich.
West Bromwich Albion head into Saturday's home match with Crystal Palace on the back of a 4-1 defeat against Liverpool last weekend. With no cup action midweek for the them, they head into the game fresh after a week's rest. Steve Clarke may change his team around for a home encounter which they will be expecting to win.
James Morrison came off the bench last week and bagged himself a goal and will be pushing for a start on Saturday. Saido Berhaino may also be recalled, but Clarke has a few attacking options in Nicolas Anelka, Stephane Sessegnon, Victor Anichebe and Shane Long. All will be hoping for a start, and the formation may have to be tweaked.
After tough recent matches against Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool, West Brom will be looking for the three points here to give them a boost before another tough match next week away to Chelsea.
On the injury front Morgan Amalfitano limped off at the end of the first half last week against Liverpool with a knee problem and faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday. Scott Sinclair is also nearing a return after missing the last three matches with a hamstring injury.
Predicted West Bromwich Albion XI: Myhill, Jones, Olsson, McAuley, Ridgwell; Yacob, Mulumbu; Morrison, Sessegnon, Berahino; Anichebe.
