Match to be played on Saturday 2nd November 2013 at 15:00. Venue: Craven Cottage, London.
Fulham boss Martin Jol is expected to name the same 11 that suffered defeat against Southampton last weekend when they take on Manchester United on Saturday afternoon.
Jol made nine changes to the team for their late 4-3 cup exit to Leicester City on Tuesday evening with just goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenburg and defender Philippe Senderos keeping their place, but the Dutchman is expected to return to the team that lost 2-0 at St Mary’s but had previously beaten Crystal Palace 4-1 when they take on the champions at Craven Cottage.
Despite John Arne Riise returning against the Foxes on Tuesday, he should drop to the bench with Kieran Richardson coming back in at left-back.
Brede Hangeland remains the only absentee so Senderos, who scored in the win at Selhurst Park ten days ago, partners Fernando Amorebieta in the heart of defence with Sascha Riether at right-back.
Former Tottenham manager Jol should stick with an attacking front four of Bryan Ruiz and Pajtim Kasami on the flanks with Darren Bent upfront and former United striker Dimitar Berbatov just behind him. Scott Parker and Steve Sidwell will look to shore things up in the centre of midfield.
The Cottagers will be looking to change their fortunes against United after losing seven of their last eight meetings in all competitions. The other was a 2-2 draw in the Premier League back in 2010 with the last Fulham win coming back in December 2009, when goals from Danny Murphy, Bobby Zamora and Damien Duff gave them a memorable 3-0 victory.
Predicted Fulham team: Stekelenburg, Riether, Senderos, Amorebieta, Richardson, Ruiz, Parker, Sidwell, Kasami, Bent, Berbatov
