Match to be played on Sunday 3rd November 2013 at 13:30. Venue: Goodison Park, Liverpool.
Everton are at home against Tottenham in one of the most anticipated games of the weekend. Everton have started the season very strongly and currently sit in 6th, only a point behind 4th place Tottenham.
The Toffees are in good form collecting 12 points out of a possible 15 in their last five games and remain unbeaten at home this season. Tottenham have equally impressed in their start to the season currently sitting 4th in the league, going into the game with the second best away form in the division.
It promises to be a very competitive matchup between two very good sides and a chance of a top 4 place for the winner.
Everton who registered a very good 2-0 win last Saturday will be wary of making too many changes for the tie against Spurs.
I imagine their only change from their 2-0 win in the West Midlands will be the experienced Leon Osman coming in for the rookie Ross Barkley, who made way for Osman in the game on Saturday and had to watch from the stands as his side claimed all 3 points with his replacement being a major factor.
Ross Barkley started the season emphatically becoming an instant success with the Everton fans, however, recently it looks like the young midfielder could benefit from a short-term break. Leon Osman has felt some harsh criticism from Everton fans this season and after his impressive cameo against Villa he will be hungry to prove himself further.
What is your prediction for the match and how Everton will line up?
