PSG have been strongly linked with a move for Juan Mata, a transfer their resources would allow them to pursue.
“The winter window, we’ll discuss the period when the transfer window opens,” he said in a press conference.
AC Milan have ruled out selling striker Mario Balotelli.
The Italian moved to the Serie A giants from Manchester City and has been linked with a move back to the Premier League with Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
“There is absolutely no problem with Balotelli. Mario will continue to be our star. He is not going anywhere. He is a fascinating individual with global appeal. He will stay with Milan because he is happy here and has a long contract with the club,” said Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani.
Cesar Azpilicueta says Chelsea’s win against Arsenal in mid-week has set them up well to leapfrog the Gunners this Saturday.
The Blues can go top of the Premier League table with a win away at Newcastle United before Arsenal play in the late kick-off against Liverpool.
“The feeling inside was that we were dominating Arsenal in their stadium - We have the chance to go top on Saturday, although we play again in a difficult stadium,” said the right-back.
