The Manchester United manager has changed somewhat in the last quarter century…
Above, is a recent photograph of current Manchester United manager David Moyes, the 50-year-old tasked with succeeding Old Trafford legend Sir Alex Ferguson.
Moyes has 15 years experience in professional coaching and has amassed a wealth of knowledge that has seen him boss Preston North End, Everton before taking the reins at United, a job that seemed like a poisoned chalice initially, but the Scotsman has engineered antidotal form as the club are unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions.
Before his managerial career, Moyes was a player and, while one of the images circulating social media depicts a doctored Moyes (perhaps in keeping with Hallowe'en week), the two below are indeed genuine. The first was taken from his playing days at Preston between 1993 and 1999, while the second is a sticker shot for his Dunfermline spell between 1990 and 1993 but was taken while he was a teenager.
