Confirmed - Manchester United v Norwich City starting line-ups - Ferdinand returns

Here are the sides for the clash between Manchester United and Norwich City at Old Trafford, kick-off at 19:45 GMT.

Manchester United starting team: Lindegaard, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Büttner, Zaha, Cleverley, Jones, Young, Januzaj, Hernandez

Subs: Amos, Anderson, Rooney, Giggs, Smalling, Fabio, Valencia

Norwich City starting team: Bunn, Whittaker, R. Bennett, Bassong, Garrido, Snodgrass, Fer, Johnson, Redmond, Hoolahan, Elmander

Subs: Nash, Martin, Howson, Hooper, Pilkington, Becchio, Murphy

Manchester United should be confident going into this game after they scrapped for a 3-2 win against Stoke City last weekend.

United are still searching for some of their best form and while David Moyes is likely to make a number of changes to the side, any youngsters getting a chance should be determined to impress the boss.

United secured a 1-0 win against a very strong Liverpool side in the last round of the competition, which should give Moyes the belief that his side can get a result this evening.

Norwich find themselves in the bottom three of the Premier League but they will take confidence from the fact that teams are finding ways of playing at Old Trafford this season.

This is a real step up for Norwich from their fixture in the last round away to Watford but Chris Hughton shouldn’t find it difficult to motivate his men, with the possibility of putting United out of the competition.

What’s your prediction for the match?
