Roma captain Francesco Totti hailed yesterday's hard-fought 1-0 win over Udinese, telling his teammates that they 'have balls'.
The capital club are top of Serie A and extended their winning streak to nine games but they were made to work hard by Udinese.
Despite going down to 10 men with the second-half dismissal of Maicon and seeing Udinese hit the post, Roma triumphed as Michael Bradley netted eight minutes from time.
Roma were without inspirational playmaker Totti who was forced to watch from the stands due to a hamstring injury, but the Lupi legend liked what he saw.
"Congratulations to my teammates who showed all their strength, courage and, as we say, balls!" Totti enthused.
The evergreen 37-year-old also lauded the travelling support who roared Roma on at the Stadio Friuli.
"They gave us the best support against an Udinese side who hadn't lost at home for a lifetime. Fantastic!"
Roma will be confident of making it 10 consecutive wins when they host struggling Chievo next weekend.
