Roberto Soldado bagged a goal from the penalty spot as a dominant Spurs claimed all three points against Hull City.
Tottenham Hotspur were absolutely dominant against Hull City but once again they failed to captialise on their possession ... until they were given a penalty kick.
They found Hull City's veteran keeper Steve Harper in superb form as he denied Paulinho early on. Paulinho also had an excellent chance to score but he hooked it over the bar.
Roberto Soldado had also seen a good effort well saved by the former Newcastle United stopper.
But Spurs got a break when Ahmed Elmohamady handled in the area and Soldado, who is looking like an absolute phenom from the penalty spot, put the ball beyond Harper.
It was a result that Spurs deserved with an absolute dominant performance in regards to possession and attempts on goal.
Although Hull City did have their chances and in the end Tom Huddlestone, the former Spurs player, was the man who came closest to scoring, volleying over in the first half.
Tottenham have now risen to fourth in the table while Hull drop to tenth.
