Chelsea are now the favourites to win the Premier League after a 2-1 victory over Manchester City at Stamford Bridge today. Arsenal are third favourites for the title after a 2-0 win over Crystal Palace this weekend, while Tottenham remain title outsiders despite taking all 3 points against Hull City Sunday.
Chelsea are now the 21/10 favourites to win the Premier League. Previous favourites Manchester City have drifted to 9/4 after their defeat at the hands of Chelsea.
Arsenal are on offer at 5/1 for the title after the weekend results, while Liverpool have seen a minor change in their price as they are now available at 15/2 with Boylesports.
Manchester United’s less-than-impressive start to the season can now be backed at 10/1 for the Premier League title.
Tottenham are installed at 18/1.
Chelsea manager Jose Mourihno said that Chelsea had 'beaten the best team in the Premier League' at the Bridge today, and credited a slice of luck that helped striker Fernando Torres score the winning goal.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, whose team now have important league fixtures coming up against Liverpool, Manchester United and Southampton, said: 'We have difficult games coming up, and that will be a good test. But I am confident'.
Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas hit out at the fans after victory at White Hart Lane against Hull today.
Villas-Boas said: 'Away from home their support has been amazing - we play with no fear, and we need that atmosphere at White Hart Lane.
'We didn't have the support we should have done (today). There was much anxiety from the stands. The players had to do it alone'.
