CONFIRMED: Liverpool & West Brom line-ups – Moses dropped, Anelka starts

Anfield Pitch

Here is how Liverpool and West Bromwich Albion will line-up for this afternoon’s match at Anfield:

Starting XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Cissokho, Toure, Skrtel, Sakho, Henderson, Gerrard, Lucas, Suarez, Sturridge

Subs: Jones, Agger, Kelly, Sterling, Allen, Moses, Alberto

West Bromwich Albion starting XI: Myhill, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Ridgewell, Yacob, Mulumbu, Amalfitano, Anelka, Sessegnon, Anichebe

Subs: Daniels, Long, Brunt, Morrison, Lugano, Vydra, Berahino

Liverpool have been given the timely boost of the return of Lucas Leiva, after the midfielder missed the 2-2 draw against Newcastle United. But this game has come a week or so too soon for Philippe Coutinho, who is all but ready to return from the shoulder injury that has ruled him out for much of the season to date.

For the Baggies, both Scott Sinclair and Ben Foster remain side-lined. But they can take hope in their recent record against the Reds, which has seen them record four victories in their last five league meetings.

Currently enjoying their longest unbeaten run under Steve Clarke, West Brom will no doubt take confidence from their recent victory at Old Trafford, and hope to replicate that impressive form at Anfield. But one thing is certain, given the two sides on show, goals are sure to flow.

What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
