CONFIRMED: Crystal Palace & Arsenal line-ups – Chamakh starts, Wilshere benched

Here is how Crystal Palace and Arsenal will line-up for this afternoon’s match at Selhurst Park:

Crystal Palace starting XI: Speroni, Ward, Delaney, Gabbidon, Moxey, Dikgacoi, Jedinak, Bannan, Thomas, Guedioura, Chamakh

Subs: Price, Mariappa, O’Keefe, Puncheon, Kebe, Bolasie, Gayle

Arsenal starting XI: Szczesny, Sagna, Koscielny, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Arteta, Flamini, Ramsey, Ozil, Cazorla, Giroud

Subs: Fabianski, Monreal, Vermaelen, Wilshere, Rosicky, Gnabry, Bendtner

Arsenal have the chance to stretch their lead at the top of the Premier League to five points with victory over Crystal Palace in today’s early kick-off. But the Eagles will have other ideas, in their first match since Ian Holloway’s departure.

The Eagle’s caretaker-manager Keith Millen has no new injury concerns, while Gunners boss Arsene Wenger has Mathieu Flamini available after injury ruled him out of last week’s defeat to Borussia Dortmund.

With Arsenal top and Palace second-bottom you would expect this match to go only one way. And when you consider the hosts have lost five on the spin, the almost certain veers towards the inevitable. But Millen will be hoping to inspire Palace to a first home victory over Arsenal since 1979.

What do you think the result will be this afternoon?
