Got the new FIFA? Probably.
The newest version of the EA Sports platform has sold like hotcakes and even the Premier League stars are getting a kick out of playing with themselves, don’t snigger!
Last night a great little story emerged of two young Belgians at Everton going face-to-face on the game.
Romelu Lukaku, on loan from Chelsea, was taking on his international team-mate Kevin Mirallas on the game - when he demonstrated his monster strength.
The 20-year-old was on some down time ahead of the Premier League clash with Aston Villa today when he and Mirallas picked up the controllers, and judging by what the powerful striker did after losing to his friend and colleague we reckon you wouldn’t like him when he is angry.
Because he snapped the controls right off the controller.
But it is not the first time he has spoken about the game.
It might be a little bit of an old story by now, but not everyone would have seen it.
Basically, Lukaku is pretty upset with the ratings EA Sports have given him. I know that some of the Everton faithful have been left surprised by just how fast Lukaku is considering his bulky frame, but EA Sports might not recognise that fact according to his Tweet…
I hope i'm not the only that had noticed it but i think i'm not quick enough on fifa.. Does ea sports think that i'm slow— R.Lukaku Bolingoli (@RomeluLukaku9) October 23, 2013
For those in the know, Lukaku’s acceleration and sprint speed stats on the game are 79 and 85 respectively, which actually seem kind of fair considering the fact he goes on to have an overall rating of 86 on the game.
But hopefully for Everton fans he can prove EA Sports wrong against Aston Villa later today…
