A select round-up of morning news relating to Manchester United…
After his outstanding start to his senior Manchester United career, Adnan Januzaj has received some advice from a former United wonder-kid who went on to become a club legend.
Speaking about his own breakthrough into the United squad, the Welshman said, “I got told just to carry on doing what I had been doing in the youth team and the reserves because that is what had got me into the first team.”
And seeing how Januzaj has started his senior career, it appears he is following that same advice.
Another United midfielder has been receiving praise this morning, with the Mirror running an editorial on Tom Cleverley.
They claim the England midfielder should be given the chances to show what he can do this season, and while both injury and the arrival of Marouane Fellaini have curtailed his campaign, Moyes would do well to give Cleverley more chances when he can.
The Hannover stopper is also said to be attracting interest from a number of Bundesliga rivals. However German newspaper Bild claims his release clause of £7million could be activated by the Reds in due course.
Although with Simon Mignolet currently excelling at Anfield, Zieler may see his future elsewhere.
