Former Manchester United striker: Bale will come good

Ruud van Nistelrooy believes that the former Spurs man can become successful at Real Madrid

Former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy believes that Gareth Bale will eventually come good at Real Madrid.

The Wales international has been in and out of the Blancos team since his summer move from Tottenham Hotspur following a spate of niggling injuries.

But the ex-Netherlands forward is confident that the winger will be a success at Santiago Bernabeu.

“Bale will definitely deliver,” Van Nistelrooy tweeted as part of Heineken’s #ShareTheSofa night.

“They're building up to bring him after the winter break.”

The goalscorer went on by commenting on Madrid’s 2-1 win over Juventus last night, insisting that Cristiano Ronaldo is driving Carlo Ancelotti’s men towards their goals.

“At the start of this season, Ronaldo has taken the team in his hands.

“You see that really happening now.

“Ronaldo keeps performing at his level because he's very committed, has a great internal drive.

“Ronaldo had a vision to be the best player in the world back then when he was 17 and he made that happen."
